When we laid the foundation of KD Iron & Steel Private Limited. in Assam, our goal was more than just manufacturing steel; it was about building trust and transforming infrastructure across Northeast India.

Over the past decade, we’ve grown from a regional steel manufacturer into a leading brand known for quality, innovation, and reliability. Our products, including TMT bars, billets, wire rods, black wire, and nails, are now an integral part of thousands of homes, bridges, and public projects throughout Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, and beyond.

What makes us unique is our technical excellence combined with local commitment. We are the first company in India to receive the BIS license for nails and the only plant in Assam to use Thermex quenching technology. Our tie-up with TATA Sponge ensures premium raw material and consistency in every batch. We’ve invested in block mill technology and a fully integrated steel plant to provide solutions that meet the unique seismic, climatic, and logistical challenges of the Northeast.
